The setting:
Evermore Weddings & Events sits in Almonte, about 35 minutes from downtown Ottawa, and is one of the region’s best-known wedding venues. Its centrepiece is a fully restored 1870s barn overlooking farmland and forest, surrounded by landscaped courtyards inspired by the French countryside.
On September 19 2026, our couple and their guests gathered at Evermore for an early fall celebration that moved from the courtyards into the barn as the evening unfolded. This couple saw Drew Hopes DJ a wedding in 2023 and booked shortly after so this wedding was on the calendar for over 2 years!

The experience:
Heart Beat Events provided ceremony audio and reception DJ services with a beautiful setup and stunning light show.
The goal was to create a soundtrack that reflected the couple and their guests, with fun, feel-good hip hop and R&B during cocktails and dinner that set the tone before building into a high-energy dance floor later in the night.
