E & R celebrated their wedding at Parlour - one of Ottawa’s most distinctive and intimate event spaces. The venue’s layout allows for a seamless flow from ceremony to cocktail hour and into the reception, creating a cohesive guest experience from start to finish.
For this celebration, we implemented an audio setup that supported both the ceremony and reception within the same footprint, ensuring clarity for vows and speeches while maintaining a clean, unobtrusive aesthetic throughout both rooms.
The evening began with a refined, welcoming tone as guests transitioned from ceremony, to cocktail hour, then into dinner service. Music selections early on were curated for a moody, old hollywood vibe to complement conversation and atmosphere.
As formalities concluded, the focus shifted toward the dancefloor. The energy built steadily before opening up into a packed, high-engagement set filled with singalongs, throwbacks, and contemporary hits. By the final hour, the room was fully locked in — hands up, voices loud, and a dancefloor that carried momentum right through to the last song.
The objective was balance: elegant early, electric late.
Parlour is known not only for its distinctive space, but also for the incredible quality of service and dining experience. Throughout the evening, guests were treated to a seamless flow of courses delivered with professionalism and attention to detail.
From pre-reception through dinner service, the staff maintained a polished and attentive presence that contributed to the overall guest experience. The food was exceptionally well received, adding another layer to an already memorable celebration.
